The 2 lower end models do not have the quick start button, calories burned and the incline percentage. Now, here is my recommendationVirginia on which model to get. If you are a woman and are just looking to strengthen and tone up, and not put on a lot of muscle and just want to add some light strength training into your routine then I would recommend selecting option number 3 which is "Tone up & Get Fit" Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells 220. It's certainly the most straightforward model but the weights adjust from 2.5 to 20 lbs which should be adequate.
On the other hand, if you are even thinking that you might possibly want to add some more muscle mass to shape and tone your body then I would propose option number 2, "Build Muscle and Get Toned" Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells 552 - hands down! If you plan to spend the money you might as well make sure that it has all the weights that you need. It would be unfortunate to get "Tone up & Get Fit" Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells 220 and then find that you actually need weights higher then 25lbs to workout.
This may seem hard to accomplish if you are not currently weight lifting but believe me, the back and chest muscles can pull/push much more weight than your smaller muscle groups like biceps and shoulders and hence it is quite easy to work your way up to a 25lb free weight over the span of 2 weeks. And if you want to continue pushing your self and forcing your muscles to get bigger you will sooner or later need to move on to bigger weights.
